i am sleep deprived by the single thought of your silhouette

5:14 in the morning without a single ounce of rest

this thought resembles a parasite, eating my mental flesh

but not shown on the surface because the feelings to deep to detect

i am not ashamed, just confused by this vivid picture

you seen in my arms, us spoken by others as one figure

me injoying the company that comes with your presence

along with the haunting aroma of your wonderful essence

i take your smiles and conjoin them to a new memory kept in the solitude of my mind

hoping your thoughts of me will change in time

your image, perspective, your labeling of my appearance

to being with you without anyone’s interference

without any ones opinionated words towards us two

and me spending a chunk of my life along side of you

i speak with room for the unknown, because there’s no telling where our road will end

but i will make sure its not back to us being strangers again

it is for this reason, i choke my words at the back of my brain stem

to make sure i don’t tare or break our connection as friends

even though the jagged edged thought reminds me its there, like a conscience full of sin

i will constantly ask myself the question, of what we could have been

i don’t wanna be left with this question, though i’ve had the courage to ask it twice

with the conclusion of my heart becoming colder as it reaches the temperatures of ice

it wont/cant change my perception of you, because even though your self conscious with every reflection you see

you’ll always be perfect inside someones eyes, and those eyes belong 2 me

everything from all of your talents to everyone of your imperfections

captivate all of my feelings besides genuine affection

because the feelings i hold for you are complex yet in fact so simple

your amazing, with every follicle and scar and every dimple

but i’m still left with the same ending, clueless of what to do

as i write this only wishing, that you knew.

a girl with a smile that is so divine

hiding a broken heart that will heal in time

because of negativity, perspectives have changed

but i guarantee all of those memories will fade

u asked for a cute poem and a hug

well this is me making your wish come true, showing you love :)

your always honest with a personality as bright as the sun

with your words so deep they can silence a gun

there was much thought put into these words

from the heart of a poet and the mind of a nerd

i no this is a short poem, and urs are greater
